Semester 1 Exam

First Semester Reflection

     This semester, I believe that I have produced on par artwork and payed close attention to detail. The concepts that I used in my projects were sometimes understandable, but I aimed for different types of concepts that only a certain amount a people would understand. The solutions I used in each project were relevant and fitted in with the type of project that was given and focused on that style. I completed every project on the correct format and resolution of 300 pixels per inch. I completed all of my work on time and never took too long to do it, and I still made sure during that time that I created only quality art work. For every project, I had my first ideas, but never used them. My first ideas ARE in fact my worst ideas, and I have always made sure to have multiple ideas and use the one that is the most appealing to me.

     This semester, I believe I put in a lot of effort towards my work and challenged myself to do the best I can and stayed away from the boring and convenient solutions. I usually go about a whole class period making plans for my project instead of jumping right into it and winging it. I try to look for as many variations of ideas, and once I find a format that I like the most, I use it. I try to aim for more challenging and interesting ideas instead of something that will bore the viewers. A lot of times, I will try to go for something very creative, and something nobody has ever done before, and take the risk to see if it works. When others try to give me positive criticism, I will listen to them and take their advice instead of taking offense, because I know they are only trying to help me and not trying to rain on my parade. I have a positive attitude towards my design. I don't only try to get a high grade, but I also try to impress myself in what I do.

     This semester, I was never late to class. I was always on time and always showed up. I worked hard throughout the block period and made sure I was at a good point in my projects. I always work independently, but I will sometimes ask for help on things I don't understand. I make sure whenever I have something to do that I am productive throughout the class period.

     As an artist, I am creative and original. Although I am creative, I could become even more original than I was before. Next semester, I will come up with even more compelling and original solutions. I believe I am confident in the work that I am creating, but I can become more risky and come up with even more original and crazy ideas. The concepts I create can become stronger and more understandable or even more unusual and confusing.

     This upcoming semester, I will come up with brand new ideas and subjects to create my projects off of. I will use my class time more effectively and be more productive. This next semester, I would like to do a project that includes filters.

The mutation strain that has affected me is gamma radiation.
I have had many physical changes. My skin color has changed to a bright green, my forehead has increased in height, random horns have appeared on my forehead, increase in nose and chin length, deforming ears and larger pupils.
The physical changes not visible in the image are increased muscle mass and height. I was 5'10" 122 pounds, and now I am 10'5" 620 pounds!
I have also faced some emotional changes. I will have periods of anger and rage randomly and it has been getting worse since the infection.
I have gained many skills and abilities. I have a huge increase in strength. I can now bench press a tug boat! I have gained super speed, super jump, and a healing ability by being able to heal a cut or fracture by simply telling it to heal.
I have not noticed any changes in my habits.
Lately, i have been eating a lot of raw meat. Especially beef.
My friends seem intimidated. They are scared of me so they quit talking to me.
My grades have dropped from all A's and B's, to C's and D's. I don't know why this is. Is it my emotional status?
Instead of going to college, I will be a great weapon for the military, so I will join.

Jenny is trying to project that she is adventurous, brave, happy, traveler, and an explorer. I think she was successful at expressing these words, because she shows that she's brave by sitting over a terrance and taking a photo of the entire city, and she is adventurous by being on the beach then going to the city. I think Jenny would be a good role model. She would be a good neighbor and a friend.

Imagination dot com allows you to create a random image and then it disappears. I am not a fan of this website because i would rather be able to actually create a piece of work and keep it for myself instead of it disappearing right after i draw it. Imagination dot com does not allow you to save the image you create. However, you can save the image when you right click on it.

                                         
Bomomo lets you select a type of draw pattern and if you draw a path, it will do the work for you. I like this website because I can easily create my own background with ease. Bomomo lets you save your work as a document.

                       

Weave silk is my favorite website out of these three. I can create any type of pattern I want with ease and you can make it as bright, or as dull as you want. This website does allow you to save your work as a document.

Lost In A World Like Me

1. The general premise of the video is to show how people these days are living through technology and devices and ignoring the world around them. During the video, it shows people using their phones and they are video taping a girl on top of a building and instead of helping her they are video taping her and sharing it to the internet. After she falls, they go right back to their phones like nothing just happened. At the end of the video, it shows everybody staring at their phones instead of looking at what is ahead of them, which is a cliff. So one by one, everybody is ignoring the world around them and falling to their death. This shows how our society is falling because of people living their life through their phones, being selfish, and self conscience about the way they look and other people look.

2. I think this video does a good job on explaining it's message. It has an effective impact on the viewers and could definitely make a difference to our society if enough people see it. The message is even somewhat said in the video in texts. However, this video did not need text commentary at all. The message is very clear and effective. I did feel the message and I agree with this video. People need to start having a more positive attitude outside of their devices and start paying attention to the world around them. I am now going to try to spend less time on my electronics and do more activities such as biking, swimming, and keep a more positive attitude about myself.
